Courtesy visit - Wanchai and Central and Western District Councils
With an aim to foster a closer relationship with the District Councils and to strengthen ties between the HKIE and the local community, the Public Relations Committee (PRC) invited members of the Wanchai District Council (WCDC) to visit the Institution on 23 March 2010. On the other hand, a courtesy visit to the Central and Western District Council (CWDC) was arranged on 8 April 2010. Participants exchanged views on subjects of mutual interests on the occasion and members found the visits rewarding. The two visits were considered a success by the PRC and the HKIE will establish closer links with other District Councils in the next Session.
