Chief Engineer (J100701)

General Mission Under the general guidance and supervision of the Resident Manager, the Chief Engineer directs the engineering (POMEC) function to maintain all facilities in the best possible condition. He is responsible for the physical integrity of all facilities and fully participates in all safety and security programs. Main Responsibilities 1. Achieves optimal operating efficiency by closely adhering to procedures detailed in the Technical Maintenance Manual. 2. Analyses and controls POMEC operations and expenditures for the Hotel. 3. Establishes and operates an effective energy management program consistent with Headland Hotel policy. 4. Participates in regular inspection of the entire property front and back of house ensuring the building and its equipment is maintained and in good working order. 5. Reviews or initiates HKIE requests pertaining to POMEC and all equipment, prior to General Manager's approval.
