Call for Papers
The Publications Committee of the Institution is pleased to announce that the HKIE Outstanding Paper Award for Young Engineers/Researchers 2010 is now open for submission. This is the fifth consecutive year the Institution has organised the Award. It is our ultimate goal to provide a platform for local and overseas young engineers and researchers to share and exhibit their accomplishments in various engineering fields.

Eligibility
- First author aged 35 or below on the closing date of submission
- Local and overseas sole author or first author of a co-authored paper

Prizes
- Up to three Awards will be given
- Each prize comprises a plaque and a certificate
- All shortlisted papers will be published in the HKIE Transactions
- Seminar may be organised for awardees to present their winning papers in Hong Kong

Schedule
9 April 2010 (Friday) : Deadline for submission
July 2010 : Announcement of the shortlist (all entrants will be notified by email following the announcement)
August 2010 : Announcement of the awardees
September 2010 : Technical Seminar on award papers
