Engineers in Hong Kong are likely involved in contractual issues and disputes, and it would be helpful to have knowledge of contract law in order to get the disputes resolved. The speakers are experienced engineers and construction professionals who will enlighten us on the following topics:

Participants can practise and learn public speaking techniques by participating in the different meeting roles and receiving feedback on their performances.

The competition will start at 12:30am and finish at about 6:00pm. A light dinner and prize presentation ceremony will be held immediately after the competition. The format of play will be "stableford".

HK$600 for the HKIE Golf Society (HKIEGS) members; HK$950 for HKIE members who are not members of HKIEGS and guests (including green fee, locker, golf carts, caddy, lunch and round-trip transportation from Huanggang to golf club; other expenses such as snacks and drinks will be at the player's own expense)

There is need for more research on current disposal methods such as landfills, incineration and chemical treatment, recycling, waste minimisation, clean technologies, waste monitoring, public and corporate awareness and general education. With the theme of "construction waster recycling and civil engineering sustainable development", this conference aims to advance the understanding and application of civil engineering with respect to sustainable development in general, and environmental and waste engineering and management in particular, and to promote the exchange of technical, scientific and professional knowledge on waste engineering and management to better serve the interests and welfare of the public.
