An exercise in low-carbon living – the greening of walls and rooftops

In green building envisioning exercises, Hong Kong is invariably rendered in great verdant splashes - the sides of skyscrapers draped in climbers, rooftops and canopies carpeted with grass - that makes this densely packed concrete jungle look almost like Borneo, minus the gorillas.
