Design and construction in Hong Kong using high strength S690 steel
Are we ready to offer innovative steel solutions?

After many years of technological development in Hong Kong, steel construction has advanced to the point where it can readily offer efficient and cost-effective solution for civil engineering and building structures in the city. The recent release of the Code of Practice for the Structural Use of Steel by the Buildings Department has consolidated the continual technological development of the effective use of steel in construction, in particular high strength S690 steel under the directive of the Project Strategy and Governance Office of Development Bureau, into the comprehensive and user-friendly design and construction information needed by engineers in Hong Kong.
