We are delighted to share that our two Chinese New Year lunch gatherings were a resounding success!

On 8 February 2025, a Saturday, we hosted the 2025 Chinese New Year lunch gathering in London for our esteemed members and friends in the UK. It was a joyous occasion filled with camaraderie, as VIP guests, members, and friends came together for celebrations. With four tables of lively conversation and festive cheer, the event was truly a memorable one.

On 9 February 2025, a Sunday, we held our first-ever Chinese New Year lunch gathering in Manchester. This milestone event was organised to connect with members beyond Greater London, fostering engagement and coming to understand their ideas and needs. The debut regional celebration saw a full table of enthusiastic attendees, marking an excellent start to future gatherings in different parts of the UK.

Both events were brimming with festivities, featuring not only delectable dim sum and traditional Hong Kong dishes, but also engaging activities such as raffle draw, and plenty of laughter. It was heartwarming to see everyone come together in the spirit of unity and joy.

We would like to say a heartfelt “thank you” to our dedicated Organising Committee — Ir Emily Yuen, Ir Ken Kwok, Ir Michael Ko, and Mr Simon Leung — for their hard work in orchestrating such memorable celebrations!

As we welcome the Year of the Snake, we extend our warmest wishes to all the Institution’s members and friends for a year filled with prosperity, success, and happiness. May the year bring new opportunities and great achievements to everyone in the HKIE community.
