由土木分部安排, 一行20位會員於5月9日前往深圳市鹽田區小梅沙,實地考察由杭州華電華源環境工程有限公司承建的「小梅沙區域供能項目」。是次考察旨在深入了解現代化城市綜合體如何透過創新能源技術,實現綠色、低碳及數智化的區域供能,包括供冷與供熱系統的實際應用。
參訪團重點考察了能源站採用的「多能互補」技術路線,其核心設備與技術亮點包括:高效冰蓄冷系統、多元化熱源供應及廢熱回收技術。
透過本次專業交流,分部成員對區域供能系統的集成化與智能化有了更深刻的認識。小梅沙項目成功展示了如何將「創新、綠色、數智、融合」的理念紮根於工程實踐之中。對於香港未來在北部都會區或新發展區的能源規劃而言,該項目的冰蓄冷技術、廢熱回收供熱源及多能互補經驗具有極高的參考價值。參訪團成員一致認為,這種高效、低碳的能源解決方案,正是未來可持續城市建設的必然趨勢。香港工程界應積極借鑑相關技術,推動本地能源基礎設施的轉型升級,為實現碳中和目標貢獻力量。
On 16 May 2026, the CV Division organised the captioned tour – the first ever docent tour – led by Mr Cheng Tak Sum, an experienced construction manager with decades of frontline expertise.
Throughout the tour, Mr Cheng introduced participants to key engineering works and cultural landmarks. He highlighted the development history of the Tuen Mun area, the construction history of the MTR Tuen Ma Line terminus, the ongoing construction of the MTR Tuen Mun South Extension works and temporary bamboo–steel hybrid scaffolding.
In line with recent innovations, a temporary bamboo–metallic hybrid structure (40m × 45m in area) has been erected in front of Tin Hau Temple Square beside the river. This hybrid structure combines modern engineering design with traditional scaffolding practice, bridging steel and aluminium members with those of the bamboo and timber fir scaffolds based on empirical “rules of thumb” applied by skilled scaffolders. It represents a remarkable integration of innovation and craftsmanship.
The tour concluded with a visit to the Hilti Customer Experience Centre, where participants explored innovations in construction safety and performance. Demonstrations included: a heavy-hand drill with hoisting support exoskeletons and digital and battery-driven core drills.
The CV Division expressed sincere appreciation to Mr Cheng for his expert guidance and to Ir Victor K Y Lo, Past Chairman of the CV Division, for his role as tour advisor. Their contributions ensured the success of this informative and engaging visit.
