NEC Contracts has appointed global professional services company Turner & Townsend as an Official Training Delivery Partner across key markets in Asia, expanding access to NEC contract management training for organisations across the region.

The appointment comes as infrastructure projects in Asia increase in scale and complexity, placing greater emphasis on effective contract management, risk allocation and collaboration between project stakeholders. NEC Contracts promotes a proactive and collaborative approach, with a focus on early issue resolution, cost certainty and improved project outcomes.

Through the partnership, Turner & Townsend will support the delivery of NEC training programmes across Asia Pacific, drawing on its regional expertise in infrastructure and project delivery. The collaboration is expected to enhance the practical application of NEC principles by equipping professionals with the skills required to manage contracts more effectively in live project environments.

Ms Rekha Thawrani OBE, Global Director, NEC Contracts, said the partnership would extend NEC’s reach across Asia, while Mr Daniel Cheung, Director and Head of Infrastructure, Hong Kong, at Turner & Townsend, highlighted its role in strengthening project delivery capabilities in the region.
